Try the newest and easiest water activity in Costa Maya!
Imagine what it would feel like to glide serenely across the aquamarine waters of the Caribbean Sea over a school of brilliant tropical fish or glide peacefully over the waters of a crystal clear fresh water lagoon to explore secluded estuaries where deeper boats cannot go — the sensations defy description. Surfers swear there is no greater feeling than “walking on water”, and stand up paddle boards (SUP for short) make that experience possible. Stand Up Paddle Boarding is the fastest growing sport across the world.Because you don’t need waves to propel yourself, you can do it on any open body of water.
UnderToe Mexico Stand Up Paddleis the first and only tour company in Costa Maya offering stand up paddle board lessons. Our well maintained SUP boards are specially designed, longer and wider to provide more stability. SUP boarding is easy to learn for all ages and levels of ability – it is fun and a perfect excursion for the entire family. Whether you are visiting Puerto Costa Maya for the day and want to experience the Caribbean waters from a new perspective or treat yourself to a week-long SUP “camp for grown-ups”, UnderToe Mexico Stand Up Paddle is committed to making your visit to Mahhual an unforgettable experience!
If you are looking for "Things To Do in Costa Maya" or new activities while you are in port, why not choose something different? Read the great reviews on Trip Advisor about UnderToe Mexico Stand Up Paddle. Our highly qualified professional English speaking SUP board instructor will teach you all the techniques needed to standup and paddle your first time! UnderToe Mexico Stand Up Paddle offers lessons and rentals with instructions. We don't just give you the paddle board equipment and a pat on the head with a "good luck out there"!
We are located a short 5 minute taxi ride to the cute town of Mahahual OUTSIDE the port.
Look for the bright pink flags next door to The Black Pearl Restaurant and Beach Club. AFTER Hotel Quinto Sole and Tequila Beach Club just past the lighthouse. Tell the taxi driver you HAVE reservations - they may try to drop you at another club where they get paid a commission. It is VERY safe in town - don't believe any of the "Mexico Scare Tactics" you may hear!
